Shahana Sittampalam

Shahana is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Psychometrist. Her clinical foundation was shaped through her work at Mount Sinai Hospital, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, and Trillium Health Partners. Her practice supports adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, perinatal challenges, and relationship concerns, including dating and identity exploration.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based, drawing from CBT, ACT, IPT, CPT, and mindfulness, and rooted in cultural awareness and trauma-informed care. She helps clients explore their inner experiences, develop emotional insight, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels safe and sustainable. Her work is guided by a deep respect for each person’s story and the many personal, familial, and cultural layers that shape it.

In assessment, she takes a reflective and integrative approach that looks beyond test scores to reveal how a person thinks, feels, and functions in daily life. She helps clients uncover strengths, clarify patterns, and gain a deeper understanding of the barriers that stand in the way of growth and well-being.
