Farzaneh is a registered Psychological Associate with over 10 years of experience both in and outside of Canada and educated with a master's degree in Clinical Psychology focusing on psychosomatic disorders. She is a therapist and an educator.

Farzaneh works with her clients using a social justice-oriented, non-judgmental approach to mental health. Her approach to therapy aims to help clients fulfill their potential and become their own person. She respects clients' authority and control of their lives and believe that they are experts of their lives. She aims to empower clients, following a strength-based perspective which asserts that despite of life's difficulties, we all retain strength that can be used to improve our quality of life. Finally, she believe that there are resources in every environment from which individuals can benefit to improve their lives.

Her work is informed by a humanistic approach and includes these practice modalities: CBT, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.

Farzaneh's practice focuses on enhancement of emotional intelligence through learning emotional management skills, improving social relations and cognitive skills, and the development of self-protecting and self-correcting skills. She believes in the importance of setting healthy boundaries in order to accept social responsibilities, building social connection, and establishing healthy attachment relationships.
